~Eagle Flies~

Through the sky...in front of the sun...this beautiful creature speaks to each one of us. The eagle is so symbolic in many ways. This particular pendant has some special meaning for us as well. It pretty much named itself. Blessings...

In this intricate and beautiful piece we have used genuine turquoise as the focal. Wire-wrapped with sterling silver around the outside are genuine facted citrine rondelles. Dangling from the bottom are genuine kyanite ovals also wrapped in sterling silver. As in all of our pieces all of the findings are sterling silver unless otherwise noted. This pendant measures just under 3" in length including the bail. The hole on the bail measures 4-5mm. Enjoy!

X-Large Fire Opal and Lemon Quartz Medallion

This piece deserves it's own page. My good friend Ricki Stitzer faceted this Brazilian Fire Opal. This is the largest faceted fire opal I have seen. I set a concave cut lemon quartz at the top to maintain the fire color scheme. By far the nicest piece of jewelry I have ever made. This and other works of art are available at www.jandkdesign.net.

My latest experiments

So, I've just taken my latest batch of soon-to-be glass pendants out of the kiln to see what's happened...I'm pleased! The garden series is going well, and I've got an idea of how I'll make the grapes look more like grapes (I'm going to incorporate them into a beaded necklace of leaves and grapes).
