Ocean

Ocean

This was my first real piece as I began to make them.
It's made of dark blue(nearly black) and teal coloured pearls, hematite, jade(at least in colour) and seed pearl beads.
Very ocean or sky coloured.

Country

Country

This piece is very unique. It's quite organic. The main "beads" are corn and apple seeds for accents.
It was quite an interesting thing to make. It's fragile because of the corn and seeds, but it makes for a great effect.
It has red, orange, and yellow corn, apple seeds ( and let me tell you, they weren't easy to work with) and gold plated( I think) beads all on silver wire.

Sedona

Sedona

Sedona was created around the focal lampwork bead by Lisa New Designs. It reminded me of the wonderful colors in this magical place in Northern Arizona, with Blue skies and red-orange rock.

Hollyhocks Necklace

Hollyhocks Necklace

I achieve the whitest white background in these handmade beads by using enamel, (powdered glass). The bead was dipped several times before adding the floral design. The flowers were left slightly raised and I love the effect. Very elegant. The pendant is strung on a double strand of tiny key lime and hot pink seed beads. Created May 2008 for Seagrass Gallery on Camano Island.

On The Vine

This piece features a nature piece I made with Precious Metal Clay and a real tree pod of unknown origin. Copper chain and vintage and new glass and brass complete the asymmetrical design. 16".

Solid Soldered Sterling Silver Helm Weave

Solid Soldered Sterling Silver Helm W...

Every link in this weave has been soldered. Helm or Parallel weave is probably my favorite weave. I just love the weight and feel of this necklace. What a wonderful feeling it is to take wire and end up with the finished product looking like this- nothing else like that in the world.

Byzantine with Pearls

Byzantine with Pearls

These are beautiful byzantine chains made with square sterling silver wire. Using square wire gives a wonderful surface for light to bounce off of. This chain has three 12mm fresh water pearls, but I have also used lava beads. This item is made at the time of order.

Cherry Blossums

Cherry Blossums

This piece was one of my first when I started crocheting jewelry.
It's got a bit of a funny story about how it came to be the way it is.
I was originally going to just have it as the main chain you see, no focal bead, nothing. Well, as I got to the end, ready to stop and say "I'm finished", I came to realise it was too short, but just a little. But I couldn't redo it. So, my mother, being the jewelry artist herself ( Bent Warped and Twisted)...

Peaches

Peaches

This piece certainly represents where I'm from. Georgia. Peaches. Great visual in jewelry.
Peach and green gemstone beads, seed pearls and gold plated beads.
Delicate and elegant.

Earthy Boro Ring Balinese Lampwork Necklace

Earthy Boro Ring Balinese Lampwork Ne...

This design was trapped in my head, and I just couldn't figure out how to do what my vision was, until last night! One of my large borosilicate lampwork rings in deep earthtones is paired with smaller discs and thick Balinese sterling silver beads for a bold design. Swarovski crystals give the slightest accent. The remainder of necklace is comprised of Thai sterling silver chain, for a total length of 18".

This necklace is available on my...
