This new pendant is one of the pieces that I chose to highlight in a recent interview I did with Instablogs News Network (India). The Editor that I worked with is named Pooja (which means 'worship'). I thought her name was so pretty that I decided to call this piece my "Pooja Pendant" in honor of her & the occasion. A black fused glass cabochon that's hand wrapped with tinned copper wire

paua cabochon.

This beaded cabochon consists of an amber synthetic cabchon focal surrounded by gold colored Czech seed beads, 4mm round glass beads & a raw edge finished with shiny Japanese size 6/0 seed beads that have autumnal shades of cranberry & plum. The pendant is hand stitched using bead embroidery techniques. The backside is finished with Ultrasuede®.
