The pendant was created using Fossilized Peanut Wood, Walrus Ivory, and Sterling Silver. I fabricated sterling bands to hold the fossilized walrus ivory and then created a bezel setting for the peanut wood. I love to glow in the walrus ivory. (this ivory is over 1000 years old and is collected in Alaska by local tribes in their ancient hunting grounds.) The peanut wood cab was cut by Eagle Lapidary.

This was one of the first things I designed when I started my own company. Here is the Hawaiian Flower Series. It included three flowers found throughout the Hawaiian Islands. The first flower was of course the Hibiscus, the State Flower. The second was the Ilima, which is the flower for the island of Oahu, where the capital of Honolulu is. Last but certainly not least is the Bird of Paradise, which to me represents a tropical paradise.

When I spotted these beautiful stones the first thing that came to mind was the wonder rich earthy colors of Austraila. The stone is called Zebra Hickoryite and I later came to find out is from Austraila. I decided to accent the lovely stone with a small faceted piece of onyx. Enjoy!

Every time I look at this pendant and earring set I think of the rolling green hills of Ireland. Thus the name. The stone is Atlantisite accented with a 4mm faceted Peridot. I had lots of fun making this set.

This is a large pendant that really makes a statement. It has a 17ct. Trillion Cut Mystic Topaz over an incredible Ocean Jasper. This pendant is over 4" long. I have it on a stingray leather cord. This piece is stunning. I LOVE IT!

Australian Print Stone, Woolly Mammoth Bone, and Garnet all set in a hand fabricated Sterling Silver setting. I have had the Mammoth Bone and Print Stone sitting around for a while, never sure what I was going to use them with. At some point I got the two near one another and WOW. I knew they would be perfect. Hope you enjoy my new creation.

This is the kanji that I designed for 2008. The kanji stands for "Dream". The first 100 of these kanjis are all created by hand. Once these have sold out any additonal kanji's produced will be a casted replicas without a pearl.

Hope you enjoy this new design as much as we do. Linda has been hard at work trying to come up with some new ideas and designs for 2008. As she often does, she was daydreaming while sitting on the beach staring at a banana tree and here is the result, a banana leaf cuff. These bracelets are hand carved in wax, then casted in Sterling Silver to create each individual bracelet. They are then darkened and brushed to show off the detail.

I love the richness of the colors in the Marra Mamba. I noticed that the fossilized walrus ivory really complimented the Marra Mamba and a pendant was born. Enjoy.

I was reading through a magazine when I came across this story about Ki'i's, pronounced Key-ee. They are Hawaiian statues carved from wood. Many people refer to them at Tiki statues. Anyhow, while reading the story this piece jumped into my head and off to the studio I ran. The face of the pendant is made with a carved cab of obsidian from the 1940's and it is dressed with a piece of mammoth bone. The Sterling for the body was reticulated and then I made a small nut and bolt with sterling silver to attached the bone to the body of the piece. The necklace was created using jet, lava, and sterling beads. Enjoy!

I have had more fun with all my beach glass this summer. I spend a month in Hawaii every year and always go in search of new beach jewels. Needless to say I have lots of it started to make jewelry with it. These necklaces are great fun. You pick your first pendant with an omega necklace and then you can continue to build your necklace by adding more pendants. I will be branching out using gemstones and minerals soon. Enjoy! I even make these in 14K if requested.

works shown in 2007 The True pendant was the design that helped me make the decision to leave a job I had for 15 years to create jewelry full time. I was struggling with the decision and this piece was the result of that struggle. The symbol stands for truth and the pearl symbolizes beauty and wisdom, thus, "Stay true to yourself and beauty and wisdom will follow". I made 100 originals of this piece and they sold out inside 3 months. I continue to design a new kanji pendant every year. All original handmade pendants have a coin pearl. Once the initial 100 are sold then I create casted replicas and use mother of pearl in place of the pearl. The second kanji is Double Happiness. I am currently in the process of designing the next in the kanji collection.
