Sirens Song is a beautiful OOAK Lampwork, Wire Wrapped and soldered chain mail necklace. All wire and findings are sterling silver. The chain portion was handcrafted by me using the Jens Pind weave. Each and every link is soldered in this stunning necklace.
About the beads: The beautiful lampwork bead was made by the talented Melissa Quelland. Complementing the lovely lampwork is Sterling Silver Bali beads and A+ Lapis. Secured with a heavy duty magnetic clasp. Wire used in the wire wrapping is also Sterling Silver.
About the wire used in the chain mail portion of the necklace: Solder filled wire is a tri-metal wire: a solder core surrounded by a copper shell and a fine silver outer layer (solder core: 6%; copper and fine silver shell 94%). The overall composition is sterling, but the fine silver shell provides a better finish and luster than sterling silver.

Sterling Silver Jap 12-2 Weave Earrings. Unlike a lot of chain mail you see for sale each link is soldered for added security and longevity of your jewelry.
These earrings are made with 20 gauge sterling silver wire. I personally coil and saw cut each link. I then weave the design and solder each piece. This design also features Karen Hill Tribe Peoples silver lentil beads and Swarovski Crystals in Purple Velvet.

Every link in this weave has been soldered. Helm or Parallel weave is probably my favorite weave. I just love the weight and feel of this necklace. What a wonderful feeling it is to take wire and end up with the finished product looking like this- nothing else like that in the world.
