Hi! I am Lydia Muell of Ashton Jewels and I'm a lamwpork bead artist and jewelry designer.
For a long time I focused most of my energy on learning the art of glass bead making. Along the way, I enjoyed creating pieces of finished jewelry but it was never really my primary focus.
Over the next year, my goal is to expand my jewelry designs and maybe hit a few shows along the way. I really do love any opportunity to be creative and I find that making jewelry is one of the best ways of relieving stress. There's just something about gazing into piles of precious metal and sparkling beads that delivers my mind to a soothing place.

This is one of my most favorite pendants because I love the bead so much. I've tried twice to make another like it and I just can't seem to get it right.

I couldn't get a good photograph of these beads for the life of me, so I used them in a bracelet. I was worried that the photo wouldn't come out well of the bracelet either but, the photography gods were with me this afternoon and the shoot came out pretty decent.
