Some people think just putting beads on a string is such an easy and talentless thing, but I disagree. I think being able to combine color, design, texture, weight, etc. into something that appeals to others DOES indeed take talent. Some designs turn out better than others, and some designs appeal to more people than others. I love beading. I consider it a challenge to place beads in such way that others might go, "Hey, that's neat!" |

I love the weight and texture of gemstones. I prefer to work with untreated stones. The colors and designs that nature produces are absolutely wild. |

Looking at (okay, and fondling) lampwork beads is such a pleasure for me. I mean, it really just plain old makes me happy. :-) |

I am continually amazed at the wonderful patterns and designs to be found in hand-crafted silver from Bali and Thailand. |

These were made by me and my children. We're new to lampworking and have very little torch time, but it's still immensely rewarding to be able to make our own beads for some of our jewelry pieces. |

Bracken Designs: Wow, I may be okay at putting one bead next to another, but I seem TOTALLY lame at doing this JewelryArtists website properly.
My apologies in advance, but as I change things (in an attempt to have a more organized section) I think some of the comments left might be erased.
