Cuatro Kruse began his lampworking adventure in the spring of 2002, dropping out of high school at the age of 17 to pursue a career in glass. Since then he has dedicated himself to perfecting his lampworking skills, practicing full time in his remodeled studio in Durango, Colorado, his home town for 21 years. In 2004-2005, he studied with renowned glass artists Jason Lee, Robert Mikelsen, and Bob Snodgrass. These artists have given him the skills and direction he needed to become the glass artist he is today, and their influences can definitely be seen in his work. Cuatro’s glass art can be seen in various galleries and shops throughout Colorado, and he is currently working on expanding throughout the U.S. His work can be viewed online at: http://www.glassartists...atro_Kruses_Gallery.asp
His glasswork is available for purchase online at: http://www.glasswurx.com/and http://www.yessy.com/cuatro_kruse/
When he is not lampworking, Cuatro enjoys rock climbing, camping, wakeboarding, bicycling, playing guitar, brewing his own beer, river rafting, photography, reading, yoga, spending time with his family, and Hiking/Skiing the many beautiful mountains of Colorado and the world.
