Man In The Moon

Man In The Moon

Posted by Hippkittybeads on 2/24/2010
I don't do organic bead designs very often. I seem to prefer controlled line designs, dots and flowers, but when I saw this incredible sterling "Man in the Moon" artisan toggle clasp I decided to try a Michael Barley technique that I found in Corina Tettinger's book "Passing the Flame". I think you'll agree, the beads look fantastic with the clasp. The crystal clear encased button shaped beads have a cosmic, night sky feel and amazing, striations of color due to the addition of fine silver leaf which causes some really cool reactions between the colors chosen. Violet, pink, emerald, purple and russet. Created February 2010.
