I've just begun working with copper and I love how rustic and ancient it looks and feels once a patina has been applied.

I started with 30mm sterling silver hoops and wire wrapped light smoked topaz Swarovski crystal bicones and smokey quartz briolettes around them. I finished off the earrings by hanging them from small sterling silver double hoops and sterling silver earwires. These spectacular earrings measure 2" from the base of the earwires.

Russian Seraphinite is such an incredible stone found in the Lake Baikal region of Russia and is often called "The Stone of Angels". It has silvery featherlike inclusions that give the illusion of angel wings. This necklace features seraphinite ovals interspersed with Bali sterling silver double daisy spacers all surrounded by large sterling silver fan beads and a triple strand of tiny creamy white cultured pearls. This incredible necklace is accented with Bali sterling silver beads caps and tourmaline Swarovski crystal bicones. I have a huge selection of lampwork glass beads with quite a collection of lampwork glass boro orphans. I finally decided to create something with the orphan beads and voila, here it is. These twelve gorgeous lampwork glass boro beads run the gamut from soft pinks to reds, to blues and greens, hence, the name hodgepodge. This necklace is anything but hodgepodge though. These spectacular lampwork beads are wire wrapped between hand wound and cut copper rings and hand wound copper coil beads. The necklace is accented with copper rounds and granulated spacer beads and is finished off with a chain of hand cut copper rings and a twisted copper wire toggle clasp. Once the piece was finished I chose to oxidize the copper to give it a rustic look and then machine tumbled the necklace to polish and harden it. This incredible necklace measures approximately 21 1/2" in total length.

Here is something totally unique and a bit funky. The lampwork glass pendant I created is composed of handwrought sterling silver wire, wire wrapped into a triangular bail. At the base of the triangle sits a butterscotch colored lampwork glass boro bead with a chain hanging from it with another larger butterscotch boro lampwork glass bead dangling from it. The pendant is then hung from a sterling silver chain of circles.

I originally planned on creating a simple pair of hammered copper disc earrings but decided to added a little pizazz to this pair of earrings. I hammered the disc, then added a hand coiled link from which I wire wrapped creamy white cultured pearls. The earrings are hung from hand wrought copper earwires and they have been lightly patina'ed for a rustic appearance.
