Hibiscus Cocktail
Go figure,it took me 2 weeks to finish this necklace, something just wasn't clicking the frustration was mounting.
June 4, 2009 - staring me in the face while shopping at Bead & Button was this hibiscus flower on a table. A Barb Svetlik OOAK up close an personal. OMG I had to have it as it matched the leaves designed by Lisa Kan that were already weaved in the necklace. That purple tone of color in the midst of this flower and bingo I had color pop! I also decided to slide down one of my 1/4" big hole beads.

Ask me how I did it? I don't know actually, but with out the help of my friends, Dawn Sklare, and Elasia Gifts - and Julie of Beaded-Elements (who started the first 3 turns) this would never have been finished - I thank them for this.

Just Vonna
Simplicity is not in my vocabulary, and I feel I have a distinctive, eclectic style. I have always been determined to push the limits. I take life as it comes to me; straight on. I design what I imagine. Asymmetry and a keen eye for color are my trademarks. I feel that learning is a process and perfecting the techniques I use can be a challenge. It is this challenge that I find so exciting and fulfilling. Putting my own spin on the design comes from my imagination and my life experiences.
