This will be my second year to do the Long Beach Scuba Show in collaboration with Judy Carlson. She gracious invited me for the past two years to contribute pieces to the show for sale that I have designed with her oceanthemed lampork, and using other artistsan lampwork that fits the theme as well. I enjoy the challenge of working on several pieces to get ready for the show and this year I've tried to move outside my narrow box of primarily bracelets to include necklaces and pendants as well. So, without further ado--here's this year's line up!

Like the siren of the sea this necklace calls out with it's irresistable charm. Lampwork by Dawn Scannell combines with sterling and hilltribe silver, handdyed silk ribbon woven into the chain and a huge--20mm 20 carat stepcut rose quartz teardrop briolette.

Such wonderful Mediterranean colors in this design that it had to be named for a Greek isle. There are a myriad of colors, shapes and material to add interest and fun to this overloaded charm bracelet.

My current love is working with artisan designed lampwork beads, because they are individual, intricate and ever evolving. When you design a piece of jewelry with lampwork it is an original, one of a kind labor of love. Working in this media is a wonderful outlet for my creativity and there is so much to learn that I will be busy for a good while! A special thanks goes to the wonderful lampwork artisans who inspire my mind and capture my fancy.
