A crocheted rope of Japanese glass seed beads and metal seeds of unknown origin form the base of this necklace of neutrals. The centerpiece is a pendant comprised of bead embroidery on heavyweight interfacing, backed with sueded leather and framing a set of lampwork beads from Chickadeebeads. Gunmetal hook closure. 24" length.

I live and work over a used book store in Albuquerque, New Mexico - the light's pretty good here. I've been crafting clothing, jewelry and handbound books for 40 years, but every day I learn something new.
I've traveled extensively, seen and learned many things - enough to know what a great deal I still have to see and learn. Life is a journey filled with amazing teachers at each step. All that is required of us is the wit to recognize them.
