Jewelry with a flower motif has been plentiful in my repetiore for sometime...but lately they've taken a back seat to some new idea's I've been persuing. I finally felt like playing with flowers again and here is the result. I give much credit to the lovely, almost fragrant lampwork of Barb Svetlick that I used for this design and a necklace of her's I saw some time back that I never forgot.
This design is feminine to the max and fairly shouts I love being a girl!

The picture is overexposed, and the color is bad...but you can see the way it is meant to cradle the neck at 17 inches.

My current love is working with artisan designed lampwork beads, because they are individual, intricate and ever evolving. When you design a piece of jewelry with lampwork it is an original, one of a kind labor of love. Working in this media is a wonderful outlet for my creativity and there is so much to learn that I will be busy for a good while!
A special thanks goes to the wonderful lampwork artisans who inspire my mind and capture my fancy.
