(Silver Jewelry)

2007 works shown in 2007
The True pendant was the design that helped me make the decision to leave a job I had for 15 years to create jewelry full time. I was struggling with the decision and this piece was the result of that struggle. The symbol stands for truth and the pearl symbolizes beauty and wisdom, thus, "Stay true to yourself and beauty and wisdom will follow". I made 100 originals of this piece and they sold out inside 3 months. I continue to design a new kanji pendant every year. All original handmade pendants have a coin pearl. Once the initial 100 are sold then I create casted replicas and use mother of pearl in place of the pearl. The second kanji is Double Happiness. I am currently in the process of designing the next in the kanji collection.

Topaz & Turquoise Sky

Topaz & Turquoise Sky

This was such a fun piece to design. I initially set the 16ct Sky Topaz in a bezel setting and put it to the side for several weeks as I could not find what I wanted to set it with. I was scrounging through a drawer of beautiful cabs that I have from Eagle Lapidary and the incredible piece of turquoise told me it was to be set with the topaz and the pendant was born.

Mystic Oceans

Mystic Oceans

The picture is not as good as I would like it to be, but the piece sold before I could re-shoot it. I wanted to share it because I was really attached to this pendant before it found its home. It was created with a 14+ct Mystic Topaz and a top quality cab of Ocean Wave Jasper/Agate cut by Larry at Eagle Lapidary. I am sad to say that I have not been able to locate anymore of this quality of ocean wave.
Enjoy,
Linda

Pearls In A Cup

Pearls In A Cup

I just love these earrings. I have made several sets as I refuse to sell the original set I made for myself. These are great little studs and they go with everything. The silver cups are hand formed with post soldered to the back. I also make these with a french hook for those who do not like post earrings.

Big Island Bracelet

Big Island Bracelet

On one of my favorite, hidden black sand beaches in Hawaii I was lucky enough to find this lovely beach glass. After collecting all my treasures I returned to my studio and created the Big Island Bracelet. I am always amazed at how beautiful this glass is after years of being naturally tumbled by the ocean waves. Each bracelet is unique and holds its own Hawaiian memories.

Mighty Megladon

Mighty Megladon

This piece was so much fun to make. A close friend found this on a dive in Florida and asked me if I would make a pendant for her. I jumped at the chance to work with such a unique fossil. I am truly amazed at the density and size of the Megladon tooth and this is a small one.

I decided to use a smokey quartz to accent the beautiful fossil. Hope you enjoy it as much as I enjoyed creating it.

Pearls In A Cup French Wire

Pearls In A Cup French Wire

These are the version of my favorite earrings using a french wire instead of the posts. Truthfully I cannot make up my mind which type I prefer to wear. If I'm on the phone all day I like the wire, if not then the posts. Oh what a terrible dilemma to have. I have just started to take these earrings to show and they are becoming my customers favorites too. I guess I will just have to let you decided which is your favorite.

Dinosaur Bone Pendant

Dinosaur Bone Pendant

I don't know about you, but the idea of dinosaurs roaming the earth is fascinating. The bone was found in Colorado and lapidary artist Larry Strickert of Eagle Lapidary cut the fossil into a lovely cabochon. That cab found its way my hands and a pendant was created. I thought mixing smooth and hammered textures in the metal really complimented the matrix within the bone. For me it gives the feeling of the past and present.

I'm Hooked On You

I'm Hooked On You

I really like the look of solid silver earrings, but I do not like the weight on my ears. I have made many hollow rings and decided to give earrings a spin. Here is the outcome of my first set of hollow sterling silver earrings. They set beautifully on the ear and are so light you don't even know you are wearing them.
To create some depth I brushed the front of the earrings and the sides have a high polish.

Lets Get Together

This is a piece that was originally designed for my best friend for all her work for people with Autism. After the creation of this original piece I asked her if she would mind if I made several of these pieces and offer them for sale on my website. Each time a pendant is sold, I don't $5.00 of the sale to different organizations that help children and adults with autism. Hope you like it.
