I only have a few necklaces in my past, but I'll share a few that have pleased me with you in this gallery. These have a special place in my heart.

This fabulous pendant was torched by Margaret Zinzer. I've completed it with tiny faceted carnelians on sterling silver chain and the pendant hangs from a lovely kumihimo rope for a dramatic neckpiece.

You never know what's going to happen with a custom order, do you? I had a request for a long--36" necklace with red accents from a dear friend. Typically custom orders come with the artisan beads someone wants incorporated in their design, but this time I had to come up with some things from my stash and I was woefully low on red beads of any kind. Especially bright, cheery red--no coral-ly reds or deep burgundy. This was the resulting necklace and I think with the supplies at hand I captured the essence of what was wanted. Hence "Did I Read Your Mind?" well, did I???

My current love is working with artisan designed lampwork beads, because they are individual, intricate and ever evolving. When you design a piece of jewelry with lampwork it is an original, one of a kind labor of love. Working in this media is a wonderful outlet for my creativity and there is so much to learn that I will be busy for a good while!
A special thanks goes to the wonderful lampwork artisans who inspire my mind and capture my fancy.
