Ocean themed designs are my all time favorite's as you will see. I am a California girl, so it's not surprising that I want to share my love of the beach in my designs. Take a few minutes to check out my work here--I hope it will put a smile on your face.

Enjoy!

Red Tide

Red Tide

This bracelet uses a combination of lampwork from three different artists with very different styles, all complimenting one another in this design. The colorful tiles are by Donna Felkner, while the starfish lentil is from Maureen Kelly of Pumpkin Hill and there is a lampwork starfish dangling from the clasp by Tiffany McCoy. Thai silver nautilus and clam shells bring this design together and an adjustable clasp makes it work for any wrist--large or small. The is a carnelian dangle reinforces the carnelian color in the graphic tiles.

Take me to the Tropics...

Take me to the Tropics...

Things are heating up here, or at least that's what I'm hoping for. In the meantime I'll use these tropical colors in a charm bracelet that is sure to radiate some warmth and style. Meet Me in Cancun, features lampwork shells by Tiffany McCoy and lampwork from several other artists that I drew from my stash box. I've loaded this bracelet with freshwater pearls, faceted carnelians and turquoise as well and it screams summertime.

Rickie Voges Design
My current love is working with artisan designed lampwork beads, because they are individual, intricate and ever evolving. When you design a piece of jewelry with lampwork it is an original, one of a kind labor of love. Working in this media is a wonderful outlet for my creativity and there is so much to learn that I will be busy for a good while! A special thanks goes to the wonderful lampwork artisans who inspire my mind and capture my fancy.
