HodegpodgePosted by MamaDivine Designs on 1/25/2008I have a huge selection of lampwork glass beads with quite a collection of lampwork glass boro orphans. I finally decided to create something with the orphan beads and voila, here it is. These twelve gorgeous lampwork glass boro beads run the gamut from soft pinks to reds, to blues and greens, hence, the name hodgepodge. This necklace is anything but hodgepodge though. These spectacular lampwork beads are wire wrapped between hand wound and cut copper rings and hand wound copper coil beads. The necklace is accented with copper rounds and granulated spacer beads and is finished off with a chain of hand cut copper rings and a twisted copper wire toggle clasp. Once the piece was finished I chose to oxidize the copper to give it a rustic look and then machine tumbled the necklace to polish and harden it. This incredible necklace measures approximately 21 1/2" in total length.
