What has started out as a hobby has turned into a passion. What I see in the weather, the landscape, people, my family, animals, it all inspires me. I love to create pieces of jewelry that will last a life time for others to enjoy and cherish. The materials I use are the best components I can find that will last forever. For this pair of earrings I combined the gemstones, Peruvian Blue Opal and Apatite. The Peruvian Blue Opals are an oval shape and the Apatites are multi faceted rondelles. I have enhance their beauty with tiny Freshwater Pearls. These pearls are only 2mm in size. The earring hooks and all findings are sterling silver. The earrings are 1 1/2 inches in length including the earring hooks.

This was a beautiful bracelet to make. I love the warmth of the copper and the gemstones, Lepidolite and Prehnite together. Then I found some of the Lavender Crazy Lace Agate and just knew it had to be in this bracelet. I used genuine oxidized copper findings for this bracelet to give it that aged, rustic look. The bracelet is 7 6/8 inches in length.

This beautiful pair of earrings are made with genuine vintage Czech Glass ab crystals that are from a necklace that my Aunt had from the 1940's. It was in pieces and in need of cleaning. These beads are from that necklace. I enhanced the beauty of these crystals with the solid Brass and Bronze findings and created this gorgeous pair of earrings. There was a hush among the girls, they just stared, snow was soflty falling to the ground, what they saw was radiant, a house aglow with lights, the scene was breathtaking.....
This beautfiul bracelet is made with Swarovski Crystals in Crystals AB. I used cubes, rounds and doughnut shape beads. The bead caps and all findings are Sterling Silver. This bracelet can go from 7 3/8 inches up to almost 8 1/2 inches. I used a lobster claw clasp and chain to finish off the bracelet. The bracelet can be resized at no extra charges, but know that it will change the look of the bracelet.

Fall...Autumn...whatever you call it, it is here! It's just beautiful outside. I really love this time of year. We have cool nights and warm days here in the southwest. We don't get as much of the color changes here in the desert as other parts of the country do, but we do have our norhtern part of the state that does. I thought I would capture those beautiful colors in this pair of earrings to share with you!

These beautiful earrings remind me of the drive up the Oak Creek Canyon from Sedona to Flagstaff. Shades of Sedona reds are seen in the canyon walls as they meet the beautiful turquoise blue sky. It is breathtaking! If you ever get a chance to take this drive, please do. You won't be disappointed!

These fabulous earrings were created while I was up in Sedona recently. For these Southwest earrings I used genuine Turquoise and Goldstone Gemstones. I can see the last rays of the setting sun. There's a gentle breeze, I can feel the moisture against my skin. I hear the birds calling to one another, the waves coming ashore, so rhythmic the sounds. It's so peaceful....it's Paradise.

In this necklace I have Exotic Indonesian Abalone Shell beads that are 10mm in diameter along with a single 13mm x 18mm drop bead. The Swarovski Cyrstals are Erinite AB x2 and Light Colorado Topaz AB, and the pearls are Tahitian Blue. The chain and all other findings are Sterling Silver. This necklace is 18 1/2 inches in length, it is adjustable, and can be shortened to your desired length.

The last rays of the sun have gone. All color fades to midnight blue, but with the rising of the moon, streaks of light outline forest trees and dances upon a distant lake.

Copper, I just love copper. In fact I live in the Copper State of Arizona. I named these earrings after the worlds famous copper mine in Bisbee, Arizona, "The Copper Queen." Walking along the shore you just might catch a glimpse of a playful Dolphin in the surf, or you may find a magnificant Seahorse caught in a tidal pool....the many wonders of the deep blue sea are just waiting to be explored. This necklace has captured some of these wonders of the sea. This gorgeous bead has rich teals, blues, greens and tans. The focal bead is 15mm x 15mm by 10mm in thickness. If you have ever been lucky enough to see the beautiful sunrise in the morning, then you'll know why I called these The Sun's New Dawning. They capture all the colors of the sunrays coming up over the earth. I used a tear drop Swarovski Crystal in Crystal Brandy for the drop in these earrings and included Olivine AB, Topaz AB x2 and Ceylon Topaz. All findings are Sterling Silver. These earrings are just a bit over 1 3/4 inches in length including the earring hooks.

Autumn....it's almost here! Just the other day, I was thinking of the fall, Halloween, Thanksgiving...and decided that I needed to make something for the occasion. The beads have a black base with raised swirling green vines and raised dots of orange. The talented glass artist, Lisa Sharik made these lovely beads. The Swarovski Crystals featured with these beads are Topaz AB and Jet. The earrings hooks, Bali bead caps and findings are Sterling Silver. These earrings are 2 5/8 inches in length including the earring hooks.

These fabulous lampwork beads appear to be just floating on the surface of the rippling water. They feature a mottled teal and amber effect over the beads. The center teal bead is 18mm in diameter with a thickness of 11mm. The three smaller amber beads are 14mm in diameter and 8mm in thickness. Hello, I thought I should introduce myself. I'm Donna Mayer and I live in Queen Creek, Arizona. I am about half way from downtown Phoenix to Tucson. I was a nurse for almost 30 years, but retired now. I have two grown daughters and five wonderful grandchildren.
My jewelry designing started while I was living in Houston, TX. I would wear something I made to work and my patients would buy it right off my body! What I made to relieve stress quickly turned into a passion. I love designing pieces of wearable art that others can enjoy for years to come. All my pieces are one of a kind. I am always taking new classes to learn new technics. I've taken a class on lampwork bead making. I loved it. So some day I hope to be able to make lampwork and add that to my list of passions.
